CMS Wistrand acted as legal advisor to the Private Equity investor VIGA Cap in connection with its strategic platform acquisition of a residential portfolio from K-Fastigheter. The transaction, valued at approximately SEK 1.9 billion, represents a significant step in VIGA Cap's strategy to expand its presence in the Swedish property market. As part of the deal, VIGA will establish a new real estate fund (AIF) to manage the acquired portfolio, which will be overseen by a joint venture between VIGA and K-Fastigheter. The CMS Wistrand team was led by Corporate Partner Per Dalemo and Banking & Finance Partner Hendrik Kangasmuukko, with Erik Frykenholt and Simon Thungren serving as project managers.
