"Noerr, led by Alexander Schilling, has advised ABO Energy on securing a €74 million syndicated credit facility arranged by IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG. This includes a €45 million tranche under KfW's Climate Protection Offensive for Companies programme to finance substations, with provisions for future project funding. Noerr has a longstanding advisory relationship with ABO Energy, previously assisting with a €240 million credit facility and an €80 million green bond issuance."

Noerr Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mbB advised ABO Energy GmbH & Co. KGaA in the transaction, while IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG acted as the arranger of the syndicated credit facility. The transaction involved ABO Energy entering into a syndicated credit facility with a total commitment of approximately €74 million, arranged by IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG. A key component of the facility is a €45 million credit tranche qualifying for the Climate Protection Offensive for Companies programme established by the German development bank KfW, intended to finance substations. The agreement includes an increase option to secure funding for future projects and incorporates bilateral loans into the syndicated credit agreement.
