Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) advised Virtuo Industrial Property in its joint venture with TPG Real Estate, through its platform Intervest, for the launch of a €200 million logistics portfolio in France. The transaction involves Virtuo Industrial Property, an independent logistics real estate company, partnering with Intervest, acquired by TPG Real Estate, a leading institutional investment firm in the logistics sector. The joint venture aims to develop next-generation, low-carbon logistics buildings across key markets in France facing supply shortages. The portfolio includes two ongoing projects, V.Park 1 in Chavagnes-en-Paillers (85) and Montchanin (71), as well as four upcoming projects: V.Park 2 and 3 in Chavagnes-en-Paillers (85), Essarts (85), and V.Park Montereau (77). Financing of approximately €115 million will be provided by Cheyne Capital, a global alternative investment manager, while Alteo Investment Management will oversee asset management for the portfolio. The BCLP team involved in the transaction included Jean-Louis Martin (partner) and Edouard Alcouffe (counsel) on real estate matters, as well as Olivier Mesmin (partner) and Yecine Nour (senior associate) on tax matters.
