The law firm De Berti Jacchia assisted SogeMi, the company managing the Agro-Food Market and Neighborhood Markets on behalf of the Municipality of Milan, in the redevelopment of the municipal market located on Via Rombon in the Lambrate district of Milan. The transaction is part of the broader "Neighborhood Markets" project initiated by the Municipality of Milan and entrusted to SogeMi, which involves the redevelopment of 15 market buildings and an investment plan of approximately 25 million euros. The redevelopment of the Rombon market has led to the complete revitalization of the historic market, transforming it into a modern, accessible hub ready to once again serve as a key point of reference for the Lambrate community. This initiative marks a significant step towards the modernization and enhancement of Milan's neighborhood market system, aiming to create a synergistic network of markets across various city districts. The project seeks to revive their original role as local sales points integrated with the larger food hub managed by SogeMi, which is the main agro-food center in Milan and Lombardy. De Berti Jacchia provided comprehensive legal support to SogeMi throughout all phases of the transaction. The team was led by partner Pietro Meda, focusing on civil law and Real Estate matters, and partner Antonella Terranova, specializing in administrative law.
