CMS advised on the transaction, assisting BIT Analytical Instruments GmbH and insolvency administrator Joachim Kühne in the transfer of the business operations to the Fried Group. The transaction involved the transfer of BIT Analytical Instruments GmbH's business operations in Schwalbach/Taunus to the Fried Group, a Swabian family business specializing in plastics technology and painting. The business will continue under the name BIT Analytical Solutions GmbH starting 1 November 2025. The transfer followed a six-month period of continuing as a going concern in a challenging market environment and a competitive bidding process, securing over 100 jobs at the Schwalbach site and preserving long-standing customer relationships. The CMS Insolvency team, led by insolvency administrator Joachim Kühne, played a key role in ensuring the continuation of the business and its relationships.
