"Simpson Thacher Advises Wells Fargo on $500 Million Credit Facility for Texas Pacific Land Corporation"

"Simpson Thacher advised Wells Fargo Bank in arranging a $500 million revolving credit facility for Texas Pacific Land Corporation (TPL), with an option to increase commitments by $250 million. TPL, one of Texas's largest landowners, generates revenue through various land-related activities, including oil and gas royalties, infrastructure projects, and commercial leases."

Simpson Thacher represented Wells Fargo Bank, National Association, as administrative agent and lead arranger, in connection with Texas Pacific Land Corporation’s (“TPL”) credit agreement. The transaction involved the establishment of a revolving credit facility with initial aggregate commitments of $500 million and an incremental capacity for additional commitments of $250 million. TPL, one of the largest landowners in Texas, owns approximately 874,000 acres in West Texas, primarily in the Permian Basin, and generates revenue through various land-related activities, including oil and gas royalty interests, infrastructure projects, and commercial leases.
