A&O Shearman has advised the banking syndicate, including ING, Société Générale CIB, and HSBC Continental Europe, on the structuring of a pan-European green financing granted to Ardian and Rockfield Real Estate. The transaction involved a EUR550 million green financing to support the acquisition of a pan-European portfolio of Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA). The financing includes nearly EUR450 million in bank loans for assets located in Germany, Spain, France, and the Netherlands, with ING acting as agent and global coordinator. Additionally, more than EUR100 million was allocated to support existing investments in Italy.
