The transaction involved Taste of Italy 2, a private equity fund managed by DeA Capital Alternative Funds SGR specializing in the agri-food sector, acquiring a majority stake in Fine Food Group from the Europe Capital Partners VII fund. Fine Food Group is the leading Italian distributor of premium Tex-Mex, American, and fusion foodservice products. As part of the deal, Fine Food’s founder and CEO, Fabrizio Fasulo, reinvested in the company and will continue to lead it.
