"Baker McKenzie Switzerland advised Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft (Zurich branch) on a PLN 1.17 billion guarantee facility agreement, primarily backed by Swiss Export Risk Insurance (SERV), for Calik Enerji Swiss AG. The facility supports the construction of a 1,336 MW combined-cycle power plant with H2-ready technology in Kozienice, Poland. Baker McKenzie provided legal counsel on Swiss and Turkish law aspects of the transaction."

Baker McKenzie Switzerland and Esin Attorney Partnership Istanbul (Baker McKenzie Istanbul) participated in the transaction, advising Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft (Zurich branch) on the legal aspects of the deal. The transaction involved a PLN 1,166,286,000 guarantee facility agreement covered primarily by Swiss Export Risk Insurance (SERV) for Calik Enerji Swiss AG. The facility, guaranteed by Çalık Enerji San. ve Tic. A.Ş., was provided in connection with Calik Enerji Swiss and Çalık Enerji’s EPC contract for the turnkey construction of a 1,336 MW combined-cycle power plant with H2-ready technology in Kozienice, Poland.
