Clifford Chance LLP and Shanghai He Ping Law Firm participated in the transaction, advising Jardine Engineering Corporation (JEC) and providing PRC law advice on intellectual property aspects, respectively. The transaction involved JEC entering into a joint venture and making a strategic investment in Alba Green Gas Holding Limited (AGG) alongside Alba Group Asia Limited, a leading recycling and environmental services provider in Asia. This investment expands JEC’s presence in the environmental engineering sector and waste-to-energy capabilities, while also accelerating AGG’s ability to acquire and develop organic waste projects in China and across Asia.
