"Nazca Capital Acquires Majority Stake in Hydroponic Farming Leader SanSan to Drive Growth and Innovation"

"Nazca Capital, through its Nazca Small Cap II fund, has acquired a majority stake in SanSan, a Spanish company specializing in hydroponic pots for blueberries and other berries. SanSan, led by CEO José Sancho, focuses on sustainable agricultural solutions, including pest control products, and operates in key blueberry-producing regions. With a turnover of €16 million in 2024, Nazca aims to drive SanSan's national and international growth. Legal advisors for the transaction included Pérez-Llorca for Nazca and Gómez-Acebo & Pombo for SanSan, with financing support from Sabadell."

Pérez-Llorca advised Nazca Capital, while Gómez-Acebo & Pombo assisted SanSan in the transaction. Nazca Capital, through its Nazca Small Cap II fund, acquired a majority stake in SanSan, a leading company specializing in hydroponic pots for blueberries. José Sancho, the current CEO and partner of SanSan, will retain a significant stake and continue to lead the project. The acquisition aims to boost SanSan’s national and international growth and further develop its position as a platform for efficient farming solutions. SanSan operates in key blueberry-producing regions, including Peru, Mexico, Morocco, and Spain, and closed 2024 with a turnover of €16 million. Sabadell will provide financing for the transaction to support the growth process. The Gómez-Acebo & Pombo team advising SanSan was led by David Riopérez, along with Sergio Gómez and Guillermo Menéndez, who are a partner and associates in the Commercial Law Department.
