Clyde & Co's Paris office advised Pearl Infrastructure Capital on its strategic investment in Energy Pool, a leading player in energy flexibility and energy consumption optimization solutions. The transaction involved Pearl Infrastructure Capital making a strategic investment worth tens of millions of euros via its second fund, Pearl Infrastructure Capital II SCA, RAIF. This private equity investment fund specializes in infrastructure and systems related to energy transition and the circular economy, with €311 million in commitments as of its final closing in June 2025. Through this investment, Pearl Infrastructure Capital II SCA, RAIF became the majority shareholder in Energy Pool, reinforcing its commitment to driving the global energy transition and supporting innovative solutions for industrial energy management. The investment complements Pearl Infrastructure Capital's existing assets in controllable renewable energy production units and is supported by the European Union through the InvestEU Fund.
