Racine assisted Rhône-Alpes PME Gestion, the management company of Siparex Entrepreneurs within the Siparex platform, in the structuring and first closing of the Siparex Entrepreneurs 6 fund. The transaction involved the structuring and initial closing of the Siparex Entrepreneurs 6 fund, which raised over €100 million. This fund represents the sixth generation of the Siparex Entrepreneurs strategy, dedicated to supporting French Small Cap SMEs. The first closing, launched a year after the start of the commercialization phase, brought together a majority of historical investors, including Bpifrance, Siparex Associés (sponsor), and Caisse d’Épargne Rhône Alpes (co-sponsor), with a reinvestment rate of 83%. The fund aims for a maximum size of €150 million by 2026 and adopts a unified structure, replacing the two multi-regional vehicles of previous generations. It targets investments in around 20 SMEs valued up to €30 million in Enterprise Value, focusing on capital development, transmission, and private equity entry. Siparex Entrepreneurs 6 is committed to environmental sustainability under Article 8 of the SFDR regulation, with at least 20% of investments directed toward sustainable businesses, alongside structured support in CSR. The Racine team that assisted Rhône-Alpes PME Gestion included: - Rima Maitrehenry (Partner), Stein Mpassi Loufouma (Associate), and Hannah Taalab Youssef (Associate) on fund structuring matters. - Charles-Xavier Vincenti (Counsel) on tax-related aspects.
