The transaction led to the establishment of Novagria Ventures, a new venture builder dedicated to innovation in the agri-food supply chain. Promoted by Cdp Venture Capital, Gellify, Mutti, Sipcam Oxon, and Crédit Agricole Italia, Novagria Ventures aims to foster the creation and development of innovative enterprises in the agri-food sector. The project plans to establish up to six new companies over the next three years, with an initial investment of approximately €5.65 million and potential subsequent investment rounds mobilizing up to €45 million. These enterprises will address process and technological gaps in the agri-food supply chain, enhancing operational efficiency, environmental sustainability, food safety, and global competitiveness.
