Moll Wendén acted as legal advisor to Mutares SE & Co. KGaA and its subsidiary GDL Anläggning & Miljö AB in connection with the acquisition of M3 Schakt AB, M3 Rental AB, and Schaktförmedlingen Sverige AB, collectively referred to as the M3 Group. The transaction involves the signing of a sale and purchase agreement for the acquisition of the M3 Group, a Swedish transportation, construction, and machine rental service provider specializing in infrastructure projects such as subways, roads, and railways. This strategic add-on acquisition strengthens Mutares’ Infrastructure & Special Industry segment and enhances its presence in the Nordic market. For GDL Anläggning & Miljö AB, the acquisition provides synergies, a strategic geographical expansion, and bolsters all business areas. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
