On 29 October 2025, law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP advised Hellenic Dry Bulk Ventures LLC in the sales of two bulk carrier vessels to Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC). This transaction marks a significant milestone for BSC as it represents the first self-funded acquisition of vessels in the corporation's history, enhancing its fleet and supporting its expansion in the global shipping industry. The vessels, each with a capacity of 63,500 deadweight tonnes, will contribute to BSC's ongoing growth, particularly as the corporation reports record profits.
