"Ellex has assisted Specialist VC in securing a EUR 4 million pre-series A funding round for Yaga, an online marketplace for second-hand fashion, which has now raised a total of EUR 7.2 million. The funding round included participation from H&M Group, angel investors, and members of the Estonian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association. Yaga plans to use the funds to expand into the MENA region and strengthen its team. Cobalt also provided legal advice for Yaga during this funding round."

Ellex and Cobalt participated in a EUR 4 million pre-series A funding round for Yaga, with Ellex advising Specialist VC and Cobalt advising Yaga. The funding round also included participation from H&M Group, a group of angel investors, and members of the Estonian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association, such as Trind Ventures and Startup Wise Guys. This funding brings Yaga’s total funding to EUR 7.2 million, which the company plans to use to expand primarily into the MENA region, strengthen its team, and enhance its existing markets. The Ellex team consisted of Estonia-based Partner Antti Perli, Counsels Rutt Vark, Gerd Laub, and Merlin Liis-Toomela, Senior Associate Hanna Pahk, and Associate Katrina Kulm. The Cobalt team included Partner Kristel Raidla-Talur, Managing Associate Grete Kuru, and Junior Associate Paul Schifrin.
