In a recent transaction, Deloitte provided legal assistance to Garbialdi, a service company, in its sale to the Danish multinational ISS Iberia, a prominent provider of integrated services. The acquisition is part of ISS’s OneISS strategy, which aims for both organic and inorganic growth while focusing on technology, operational efficiency, and sustainability. This transaction enhances ISS’s presence in the Basque Country and improves its capacity to cater to clients with multi-site operations and complex service requirements. Garbialdi, established in 1989, offers a diverse range of services, including corporate and healthcare facility cleaning, road maintenance, non-hazardous waste collection, gardening, kitchen assistance, maintenance, air conditioning, and pest control. In 2024, Garbialdi reported revenues exceeding €80 million and employs over 3,000 individuals.
