In a recent transaction, the law firm Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Premier Energies Limited on its acquisition of a 51% controlling stake in Ksolare Energy Private Limited, along with a shareholders’ arrangement with Syrma SGS Technology Limited. The acquisition marks a significant step for Premier Energies, an integrated solar cell and solar module manufacturing company, as it expands its portfolio by taking a controlling interest in Ksolare Energy, which specializes in manufacturing solar inverters and providing smart energy solutions. The transaction team from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas was led by Partners Kushal Sinha and Dhrupad Pant, with support from Principal Associates Paulose Abraham and Ishita Sehgal, as well as Associates Anushka Agarwal, Khushi Joshi, and Nazish Prabhakar.
