The transaction involved the offering of 385,000,000 shares of common stock, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, with aggregate proceeds of approximately ¥212.9 billion (around $1.4 billion). Metaplanet, a rapidly growing bitcoin treasury company based in Japan, plans to use the proceeds to purchase additional bitcoin and enhance its bitcoin income generation business.
