In a recent transaction, Weinhold Legal, in collaboration with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, advised Resistant AI on its USD 25 million Series B financing round, while Kinstellar provided counsel to DTCP. Additionally, Taylor Wessing, working alongside Gunderson Dettmer, reportedly advised DTCP as well. The financing round, led by DTCP Growth, attracted participation from notable investors including Experian, Notion Capital, and GV, with Credo Ventures also supporting Resistant AI. This funding round brings Resistant AI’s total funding to USD 53 million. Founded in 2019 by Martin Rehak, the Prague-based company specializes in AI-powered fraud prevention, focusing on document fraud detection and transaction monitoring. The new capital will facilitate the company's expansion into new markets and enhance its capabilities to combat generative-AI fraud and anti-money-laundering risks. The Weinhold Legal team comprised Partner Martin Lukas, Solicitor Pav Younis, and Senior Associates Sofia Petrova and Matej Novak. The Kinstellar team included Partner Jan Juroska, Managing Associates Petr Bratsky and Iva Bilinska, Associate Simona Semanova, and Junior Associates Paul Valka and Emma Hartingerova.
