"Reserva Paulista Raises BRL 127 Million for Sustainable Development through Non-Convertible Debenture Issuance"

Landi Rodrigues and Cescon Barrieu participated in the recent issuance of non-convertible debentures for Reserva Paulista, with Landi Rodrigues advising the issuer and Cescon Barrieu advising Galapagos Capital, the sole underwriter. The transaction involved the first issuance of non-convertible debentures for public offering, totaling BRL 127 million. The proceeds from this offering will be exclusively allocated to promoting sustainable development and environmental conservation through the renovation and modernization of the infrastructure of the “Zoológico de São Paulo,” “Jardim Botânico,” and “Zoo Safári,” all managed by Reserva Paulista and located within the “Parque Estadual das Fontes do Ipiranga,” a state nature reserve. The debentures also benefited from tax incentives under Law 12.431/2011. The legal teams involved included partners Matheus Veras and Ronaldo Bassitt Giovannetti, along with associate Adriano Venâncio Cavalcanti from Landi Rodrigues. From Cescon Barrieu, partner Lucas Padilha was involved, supported by associates Stella Cunha, Diogo Câmara, and Breno Cavalheiro.
