"Telles advised the Costa Maia Group on the sale of Clínicas Costa Maia, a leading provider of physical medicine and rehabilitation, to a company owned by CoRe Capital and MoveClinics. This acquisition expands MoveClinics' network to 13 clinics, enhancing its national presence. The advisory teams included Telles' Tomás Barbosa and CS’ Associados' Bernardo Abreu Mota."

In a recent transaction, Telles advised the Costa Maia Group on the sale of Clínicas Costa Maia, while CS’ Associados and EY provided counsel to CoRe Capital on the buyer side. The Costa Maia Group, which previously owned four physical medicine and rehabilitation clinics—three in the north of the country and one in Lisbon—has sold these clinics to a company owned by CoRe Capital and MoveClinics. This acquisition integrates the clinics into the Moveclinics network, expanding its total number of units to 13 and enhancing its national presence in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. The legal teams involved in the transaction included Telles, with a multidisciplinary team led by managing associate Tomás Barbosa in the Corporate, M&A, and Private Equity practice, alongside associates Catarina Isidro, Leonor Dias do Carmo, and Gabriela Marques Duarte. On the side of CS’Associados, the advisory team was led by partner Bernardo Abreu Mota, also in Corporate M&A, with support from associates Mar Machado Graça and Marcos Carrapita.
