"Repono AB, a Swedish independent energy storage operator, has acquired a 202-megawatt battery energy storage system in Arges County, which will be one of the largest grid-scale storage assets in Southeast Europe. The acquisition was advised by RTPR and Kinstellar, with teams from both firms involved in the project."

RTPR and Kinstellar have advised Repono AB on its acquisition of a battery energy storage system with a capacity of 202 megawatts/404 megawatt-hours. Repono AB, a Swedish-based independent energy storage operator and developer, is focused on deploying large-scale battery energy storage systems across Europe. The project, located in Arges County, is ready-to-build and, upon completion, will be one of the largest grid-scale storage assets in Southeast Europe. The RTPR team included Partners Roxana Ionescu and Bogdan Cordos, Counsel Vlad Stamatescu, and Associate George Capota. The Kinstellar team comprised Bucharest-based Managing Partner Iustinian Captariu, Counsel Cristina Stamboli, Managing Associate Corina Oancea, and Senior Associates Ioana Criste, Dana Sarbu, and Cosmin Vasilescu.
