Solar World Aquiris acquired these projects in 2013, and they operate under a Contracts-for-premium scheme until 2032. CMS Sofia has successfully assisted its long-term client, Solar World Aquiris S.a.r.l. (Luxembourg), in the refinancing of its two operational photovoltaic projects in Bulgaria, namely “Nove Eco” and “MG Solar,” which have a combined installed capacity of 10 MW. The transaction involved negotiations and the signing of loan and security agreements with United Bulgarian Bank, part of the KBC Group, as well as the perfection of these agreements. Solar World Aquiris S.a.r.l. (Luxembourg) acquired both projects from Renesola in 2013, and they operate under a Contracts-for-premium scheme that is valid until 2032. The CMS Sofia team that worked on this transaction included Kostadin Sirleshtov, Borislava Piperkova, Viktoriya Dimitrova, Stoyana Petrova, Niya Ivanova, and Rosen Kostadinov, all of whom specialize in Energy, Projects, and Construction.
