The transaction enhances Lightspark's capabilities in providing modern payment solutions that enable businesses and financial institutions to conduct instant, transparent, and cross-border transactions through a single, open protocol. Striga's Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license, which spans 30 countries within the European Economic Area (EEA), along with its regulatory expertise and financial services stack, bolsters Lightspark's position in compliant cross-border payment infrastructure. The Latham team involved in the transaction included London partners Stuart Davis and Shing Lo, Boston counsel Andy Moosmann, and associates Kelsey Kitchens and Sarah Weiswasser.
