Linklaters advised La Caisse (formerly CDPQ) as an existing shareholder in exclusive negotiations with Warburg Pincus for the acquisition of a significant minority stake in Sebia, a global leader in in vitro diagnostics for disease screening and monitoring. The current shareholders, La Caisse, CVC Capital Partners Plc, and Téthys Invest SAS, will remain significant shareholders of Sebia following the completion of the transaction. The completion of the operation is subject to the finalization of definitive documentation, the completion of applicable employee representative consultation procedures, and the obtaining of customary regulatory approvals. The finalization of the transaction is expected to occur as early as the first quarter of 2026.
