International law firm Gianni & Origoni assisted Cassandra Investments, a search fund founded in 2022 by Emanuele Charalambis and Riccardo Donadel, in the acquisition of the entire share capital of New Roglass, an industrial waste management company specializing in glass treatment and recovery, and the only authorized operator in the province of Milan. The sellers reinvested in Cassandra Investments alongside other investors in the search fund, while the former CEO, Federico Gritti, retained an operational role within the company. The acquisition was financed by Banco Bpm. Cassandra Investments was supported by a team from Gianni & Origoni led by partner Gerardo Carbonelli, with senior associate Giovanni Gila assisting on corporate and M&A matters, and counsel Stefano Biagioli handling labor law aspects. The firm also managed all financing-related aspects of the transaction, with senior counsel Antonio Amoroso and associate Andrea Zorzi involved in this area.
