In a recent transaction, the law firms Demarest and Foley & Lardner provided legal assistance to Velotax, a Brazilian startup specializing in tax solutions. Velotax successfully completed its Series A equity financing round, raising R$125 million with participation from investors QED Investors, Valor Capital, and Picus Capital. Demarest's team included partners Joao Busin and Juliana Maluf, along with associates Barbara Queiroz and Pedro Vecci.
