Ashurst Advises CERTANIA on Strategic Acquisition of BB7 Group to Expand in UK and Ireland's Buildings & Infrastructure Market

Global law firm Ashurst advised CERTANIA on its acquisition of the BB7 Group of companies, as well as the rollover of some of the sellers into CERTANIA. This transaction represents a significant move for CERTANIA as it seeks to expand strategically into the Buildings & Infrastructure market in the UK and Ireland. BB7 will play a crucial role in establishing a new platform that emphasizes building safety, regulatory assurance, and sustainable design. Alongside Clarke Banks and Xact, BB7 will contribute to forming a joint business within CERTANIA’s Buildings & Infrastructure Division, aiming to create one of the most comprehensive and interdisciplinary consultancies for the built environment in the UK.
