"Kirkland & Ellis advised Rockcliff Energy III LLC on its acquisition of East Texas assets from Pine Wave Energy Partners, which includes ownership interests in 25 operated wells across approximately 29,000 net acres and a controlling interest in natural gas gathering pipelines. The assets are located in San Augustine and Shelby Counties, Texas, with a production capacity of about 100 million cubic feet per day."

Kirkland & Ellis served as legal counsel for Rockcliff Energy III LLC, a portfolio company of Quantum Capital Group, in its acquisition of East Texas assets from Pine Wave Energy Partners, LLC, a portfolio company of Old Ironsides Energy. The transaction involves the acquisition of assets located in San Augustine and Shelby Counties, Texas, which include ownership interests in 25 operated wells across approximately 29,000 net acres, yielding around 100 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of net production. Additionally, the deal encompasses a controlling interest in certain natural gas gathering pipelines situated in San Augustine County.
