"Tarmac.IO Acquires Warecorp to Enhance Technology Services Platform"

"Schoenherr and Andersen, in collaboration with Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter, have advised Tarmac.IO on its acquisition of the Minneapolis-based software engineering firm Warecorp and its subsidiaries in Poland and Georgia. This acquisition enhances Tarmac's software development and data analytics capabilities by integrating Warecorp's AI and data science expertise, resulting in a combined team of approximately 370 engineers. Warecorp will maintain its brand during the integration process."

Schoenherr and Andersen, in collaboration with Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter, provided legal counsel to Tarmac.IO in its acquisition of the Minneapolis-based software engineering company Warecorp and its subsidiaries located in Poland and Georgia. The transaction aims to merge Tarmac’s custom software development and data analytics capabilities with Warecorp’s expertise in AI and data science, resulting in a comprehensive technology services platform that boasts an expanded team of approximately 370 engineers. Following the acquisition, Warecorp will continue to operate under its existing brand during the integration process. The Schoenherr team involved in the transaction included Partner Katarzyna Solarz-Wlodarska, Counsel Dawid Brudzisz, Senior Attorneys at Law Grzegorz Policht and Pawel Baran, and Associate Krystyna Jakubowska. The Andersen team comprised Managing Partner Archil Giorgadze, Partner Tamar Jikia, and Senior Associate Giorgi Tsagareshvili.
