Court Dismisses Antitrust Lawsuits Against Louis Dreyfus Company in Sugar Price Fixing Case
"On October 15, 2025, the U.S. District Court for Minnesota dismissed over fifty antitrust lawsuits against Louis Dreyfus Company LLC (LDC) that alleged a conspiracy to fix sugar prices. The plaintiffs, including various purchasers of granulated sugar, claimed that LDC and other defendants conspired to inflate sugar prices by sharing sensitive information. However, the court found no credible evidence of such coordination or information exchange involving LDC, leading to the dismissal of all claims against the company. The case is titled In re Granulated Sugar Antitrust Litigation, No. 24-md-3110 (D. Minn.)."
