Latham & Watkins assisted Nactarome, a global developer and producer of natural aroma, taste, and color solutions for the food and beverage industry, which is controlled by investment funds of TA Associates, in the acquisition of the French group Plantex, a producer of high-quality natural ingredients for the nutraceutical, food, cosmetic, and animal nutrition sectors, which is controlled by Mérieux Equity Partners. The transaction involved Nactarome acquiring Plantex to enhance its portfolio of natural ingredient solutions. The Latham & Watkins team was led by partner Stefano Sciolla, with associates Marco Martino, Guido Hassan, and Gabriele Mengo. French law aspects were handled by partner Gaetan Gianasso, along with associates David Chatteleyn and Cheryl Yviquel.
