In a recent transaction, Machado Meyer and Rolim Goulart Cardoso served as legal advisors, with Machado Meyer assisting Neoenergia Renováveis and Rolim Goulart Cardoso advising CELGPAR. The transaction involved Neoenergia Renováveis acquiring a 37.5% stake in Energética Corumbá III (ECIII) from CELGPAR through a public auction at B3 on October 3, 2025. Following the acquisition, Neoenergia will hold a total of 62.5% of ECIII and 85% of the Corumbá III Consortium, which operates the 96.5 MW Corumbá Hydroelectric Plant in Goiás. The deal is valued at BRL 91.84 million and is subject to customary conditions precedent. The legal team from Machado Meyer was led by partner Ivandro Sanchez, with support from partner Lucas Sant Anna and associates Alejandro Parraga, Beatriz Castro, Gabriel Vazami, and Pedro Saullo. Rolim Goulart Cardoso's team included partners Fabio Appendino and Alessandra Torres, along with attorney Matheus Agostinho.
