"De Pardieu advised La Banque Postale and Crédit Agricole Alpes Provence on a €120 million financing deal for a public-private partnership between the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille and Eiffage's dedicated company, Persée. The project involves demolishing the current GPMM headquarters and constructing a new facility, along with public spaces and the rehabilitation of the "J0" hall, which will feature offices, a port center, a museum, an auditorium, and retail spaces. De Pardieu advised the lenders, La Banque Postale and Crédit Agricole Alpes Provence, while Gide Loyrette Nouel provided legal counsel to Eiffage in a partnership market financing transaction. The transaction, valued at a total of 120 million euros, involves the demolition of the current headquarters of the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille (GPMM) and encompasses the financing, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and major renovation of the new GPMM headquarters and adjacent public spaces. Additionally, the project includes a real estate development operation for the rehabilitation of the "J0" hall, which will feature office buildings, a port center, a museum space, an auditorium, as well as shops and restaurants, covering nearly 16,000 square meters of floor space. The De Pardieu team consisted of Antoine Payen (partner) and Ilhem Haouas (counsel), specializing in project finance.
