Hogan Lovells Facilitates Sale of 92MWp Agrivoltaic Projects in Italy for DCH

"Hogan Lovells has advised DCH on the sale of two agrivoltaic projects in Apulia and Molise, totaling 92MWp, to DRI. The plants are expected to produce around 195,000 MWh of renewable energy annually, sufficient to power approximately 75,000 households and reduce CO₂ emissions by over 54,200 tonnes. The advisory team was led by partner Luca Picone, with contributions from senior associate Francesco De Michele and counsel Emanuela Cocco."

Hogan Lovells has advised DCH, a developer and independent power producer, on the agreement for the sale of two agrivoltaic project plants to DRI. The transaction involves the sale of two agrivoltaic projects with a total capacity of 92MWp located in Apulia and Molise. Once operational, these plants are expected to generate approximately 195,000 MWh of renewable energy annually, which will meet the electricity needs of around 75,000 households and help prevent the emission of over 54,200 tonnes of CO₂ into the atmosphere. The Hogan Lovells team that advised on this transaction was led by partner Luca Picone, with support from senior associate Francesco De Michele and trainee Piermaurizio Francesconi, who focused on the corporate aspects. Counsel Emanuela Cocco provided guidance on the administrative and public law aspects of the transaction.
