This historic agreement marks a significant shift in the governance of the America’s Cup, the oldest international sports trophy, as it establishes a new mutual governance structure that unites all participating teams under a shared commercial framework. This partnership aims to enhance the management of the competition, promote economic sharing, and increase global fan engagement, marking the first time in the event's 174-year history that competing teams have collaborated in this manner.
