Baker McKenzie, a leading global law firm, advised Virgin Media O2 in its new long-term Power Purchase Agreement with The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG). The transaction involves a 10-year agreement in which TRIG will supply Virgin Media O2 with renewable electricity, contributing approximately 15% of the company's total energy supply. The agreement is set to commence in April 2026, with TRIG's wind farms, Earlseat in Scotland and Garreg Lwyd in Wales, providing power to Virgin Media O2's sites across the UK. The Baker McKenzie team was led by Energy & Infrastructure Partner James Wyatt, with support from Associate Alex Tam and Consultant Andrew Hedges.
