"Baker McKenzie Advises Virgin Media O2 on Long-Term Renewable Energy Agreement with TRIG"

"Baker McKenzie has advised Virgin Media O2 on a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement with The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG), which will supply renewable electricity for about 15% of the company's energy needs starting in April 2026. The agreement will utilize energy from TRIG's wind farms in Scotland and Wales, supporting Virgin Media O2's net zero goals."

Baker McKenzie, a leading global law firm, advised Virgin Media O2 in its new long-term Power Purchase Agreement with The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG). The transaction involves a 10-year agreement in which TRIG will supply Virgin Media O2 with renewable electricity, contributing approximately 15% of the company's total energy supply. The agreement is set to commence in April 2026, with TRIG's wind farms, Earlseat in Scotland and Garreg Lwyd in Wales, providing power to Virgin Media O2's sites across the UK.
