Hogan Lovells Supports Berenberg in Financing German Wind Park Portfolio

"Hogan Lovells has advised Berenberg and its Green Energy Debt Funds on financing a portfolio of eleven wind parks in Germany, totaling approximately 200 MW. The financing includes a unitranche credit facility to enhance liquidity for project companies until the wind farms are sold. Hogan Lovells participated in the transaction by advising private bank Berenberg and the Berenberg Green Energy Debt Funds on the financing of a wind park portfolio of ABO Energy in Germany. The transaction involved Berenberg and its managed Berenberg Green Energy Debt Funds providing financing for eleven German wind parks with a total capacity of approximately 200 MW. These parks are either ready-to-build or already in the construction phase. The unitranche credit facility will complement the equity already invested and will enhance liquidity for several project companies until the planned sales of the wind farms.
