Latham & Watkins Advises Institutional Investors on €200 Million Senior Secured Bond Issuance by Kapla Holding

"Latham & Watkins advised institutional investors on Kapla Holding's issuance of an additional €200 million in senior secured bonds at a 5.00% interest rate, maturing in 2031. The funds will be used to refinance existing obligations, recent acquisitions, general corporate needs, and cover related expenses. Kapla Holding is the parent company of Kiloutou, a leading equipment rental firm in Europe. The Paris team was led by Roberto Reyes Gaskin and included several other associates."

Latham & Watkins advised institutional investors in connection with the issuance of additional senior secured bonds by Kapla Holding. The transaction involved Kapla Holding issuing an additional nominal amount of €200 million in senior secured bonds at a 5.00% interest rate, maturing in 2031. Kapla Holding is the parent company of Kiloutou, a leading equipment rental company in Europe. The proceeds from the private placement are intended to (i) fully refinance the total nominal amount of €49 million of Kapla Holding's "Relance" bonds maturing on November 25, 2030; (ii) fully refinance recent acquisitions; (iii) address general corporate needs, which may include a short-term mergers and acquisitions pipeline and/or partial refinancing of convertible bonds; and (iv) cover certain fees, costs, and expenses related to the bond issuance. The Latham team in Paris was led by Roberto Reyes Gaskin, a partner in the capital markets practice, along with associate Hana Ladhari. Partner Xavier Farde, along with associates Virginie Terzic and Bruna Neiva Cardante, handled the financing aspects of the transaction.
