"Magirus Expands Vehicle Construction Division with Acquisition of Achleitner Fahrzeugbau"

"CMS has advised Magirus, a Mutares portfolio company, on acquiring the vehicle construction division of Achleitner Fahrzeugbau, with Binder Groesswang representing the sellers. This acquisition will enhance Magirus's offerings in the Infrastructure & Special Industry segment, particularly in off-road, security, and defense vehicles. The CMS team included several partners and associates from Austria and Germany, while Binder Groesswang was led by partners Andreas Hable and Mona Graf."

In a recent transaction, CMS advised Magirus, a wholly owned portfolio company of Mutares, while Binder Groesswang represented the sellers in the acquisition of the vehicle construction division of Achleitner Fahrzeugbau. The acquisition is expected to enhance Magirus’s Infrastructure & Special Industry segment, particularly in the areas of off-road, security, and defense vehicles.
