International law firm Simmons & Simmons participated in the project financing transaction by advising DZ Bank, a leading German financial institution, in the development of a wind farm near Licata in Sicily, Italy. The transaction involves the financing of a wind farm currently under construction, which will have an output capacity of approximately 30 megawatts. The project is being developed by wpd, a prominent European operator and planner of onshore wind energy projects, marking their first large-scale venture in Italy. The Simmons & Simmons team was led by German partner Dr. Jens W.
