"GvW Graf von Westphalen has assisted Tenaz Energy Corp. in acquiring a private company involved in the Gateway to the Ems (GEMS) project, located in the North Sea, for USD 244 million. The GEMS assets include five licenses, two in Germany and three in the Netherlands, covering 1,811 km² and featuring the N05-A platform, which has a capacity of 225 MMcf/d. The acquisition enhances Tenaz's position as a leading producer in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. The legal team from GvW was led by partners Dr. Ritesh Rajani and Corinna Lindau, with additional support from various specialists in environmental, planning, and energy law."
