Goldman Sachs to Acquire Industry Ventures for $665 Million, with Potential for Additional $300 Million Based on Future Performance

Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP is advising Goldman Sachs in its agreement to acquire Industry Ventures, a prominent venture capital platform. The transaction involves a total consideration of $665 million payable at closing, with an additional contingent consideration of up to $300 million based on Industry Ventures’ future performance through 2030. The deal is anticipated to close in the first quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approval and other conditions. The Weil team working on this transaction includes a diverse group of lawyers across various practice areas.
