Freeths, a leading law firm, advised Zestec Renewable Energy on the development of a 1.2MW solar carport scheme at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The firm provided guidance on all aspects of the power purchase arrangement and the real estate issues related to the project. The solar carport scheme will not only provide shade and protection for vehicles but is also expected to generate over 1.1 million kWh of clean energy annually. This energy will be utilized to power on-site facilities, including the new Woodland Village, which is recognized as the first operationally carbon-neutral accommodation at LEGOLAND® Windsor.
