Vinson & Elkins represented Energy Vault, Inc. in a $300 million preferred equity investment by Orion Infrastructure Capital L.P. This investment will facilitate the launch of “Asset Vault,” Energy Vault’s fully consolidated subsidiary focused on the development, construction, ownership, and operation of energy storage assets on a global scale. The Vinson & Elkins team included partners Michael Gibson and Jenny Speck, along with associates Christina Wu and Katie Holmes.
