"Verdalia Bioenergy Limited, backed by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, has secured €671 million in financing for biomethane production plants in Italy and Spain, with a total capacity exceeding 3 TWh per year. Verdalia Bioenergy Limited, owned by Goldman Sachs Alternatives’ infrastructure fund, has successfully closed a €671 million financing deal aimed at acquiring and developing a portfolio of biomethane production plants in Italy and Spain. This project, with an aggregate capacity exceeding 3 TWh per year, is set to meet the energy consumption needs of nearly one million households.
