This transaction marks the second-largest IPO in Hong Kong this year and the largest ever for a gold mining company globally. The IPO was conducted against a backdrop of record gold prices, attracting exceptional demand and resulting in oversubscription, ultimately raising approximately HK$25 billion and giving Zijin Gold a market capitalization of HK$187.9 billion at the time of listing.
