In a recent transaction, the law firms Veritas Legal, Khaitan & Co, and TT&A participated in assisting Raise Fintech Ventures Private Limited, the promoters, and existing investors in a $120 million Series B fundraise led by Hornbill Capital. The fundraise has propelled Raise Fintech Ventures, which operates the "Dhan" broking app, into the unicorn club with a valuation of $1.20 billion. Veritas Legal provided strategic advisory, due diligence, and transaction documentation support throughout the process, while Khaitan & Co advised the lead investor, Hornbill Capital. TT&A represented MUFG Bank Ltd. and MUFG Innovation Partners in their investment in the fundraise. The transaction team from Veritas Legal was led by Senior Partner Manav Raheja, alongside Principal Associate Parshva Doshi and Associates Vanshika Katiyar, Kashish Gupta, and Akriti Gupta.
